When I was working as a professional dancer at the Christmas Show at Radio City Music Hall in New York City, I was kicked by a camel backstage (yes, a living and breathing camel). I was left with broken ribs and a sprained shoulder and I found myself on workman's comp—struggling to pay rent and live. It had been a rough year financially as a dancer and the Radio City gig was going to put me back on track. However, after a few months I still wasn't healing—physically or emotionally—my workman's comp was running out and I couldn’t get back to work as a dancer. After many months of tests and doctors telling me that I should be healed by now and with no where else to turn—I started looking outside of the box for unconventional healing methods. Through this research, I opened myself up to the world of energy—a mind, body, and spirit-based energetic Universe. Finally, everything I knew deep down made sense. I began to read everything I could find on energy, quantum physics, healing, and spirituality. I took yoga, went to therapy, and began to listen to my inner voice that was speaking to me through my body. I realized that my body had opinions and a voice, and I when I finally started to listen, I finally began to heal.

After a lot of hard work, determination, and listening, I transitioned from dance and began working as a choreographer—enjoying many years of success.  However, deep down something was still missing and grief was crying out inside of me.  Even with all of my new knowledge of the Universe and energy, there was still some healing I needed that I was unable to reach on my own.

After many years in therapy and a move to Los Angeles—I enrolled in a Depth Psychology Master's program with an emphasis on Somatic Studies. This program was at Pacifica Graduate Institute where the motto "Anima Mundi," is translated as "The World's Soul."  This Jungian based coursework combined everything that interested me—creativity, dreams, images, and spirit. I dove into the dream world and explored putting dreams on their feet.

My fieldwork consisted of Shamanic training in dream work as well as studying with world renown Jungian psychoanalyst and dream therapist, Robert Bosnak. Using the above training along with my dance and choreography experience, I guided groups of dancers and worked alongside individual dancers as they embodied and danced their dreams. I witnessed healing transformations as dreams and the unconscious expressed itself through movement.

I also worked with the Homeless Youth at the Covenant House, Los Angeles.  Through ritual and expressive gestures, we developed stories and games together while maintaining a circle of equality and connection. Here—where the underprivileged youth often struggle to be seen and understood—I witnessed individual empowerment blossom as their individual gestures emerged.

Over time I developed my own transformative healing technique: Sacred Energy Expression. This technique embodies somatic work, psychology, spirituality, creativity, and most importantly—the energy of unconditional love.

I love helping clients work through their nighttime dreams and making their daytime dreams come true.
